Daily Praise Offering for October 31, 2020
Posted on October 31, 2020 at 5:00 am
I worship you, Lord, for you are righteous. You cut me loose from the chains that had me bound and you set me free(Psalm 129:4).
Halloween prayer: Oh Lord, on a day devoted to glorifying evil, we glorify you. On a day that draws attention to evil deeds, we turn our thoughts to your wondrous deeds. On a day that plays on our fears, we remember the one who says, “Fear not, for I am with you.” On a day that celebrates death, we honor the one who conquered death and celebrate the life we have in you. On a day that entertains spirits, we ask that you fill me us your Holy Spirit. And through your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, deliver us from evil today and every day. Amen.
Beautifully written prayer for today, thank you for reminding us again that there is nothing to fear within the promised comfort and love of our Savior who knows us by name.
