A day in your courts, O Lord, is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a lowly doorkeeper—a nobody—in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. I thank you, Jesus, for it is through you that I have access to the Father by faith in the grace by which I stand. Therefore, I rejoice in the hope of the glory of God (Psalm 84:10; Romans 5:2).
