I worship you, O great God of compassion, for through your Son Jesus Christ you showed great compassion toward all who suffer—-for the lost (Matthew 9:36), for the sick (Matthew 14:14), for grieving parents (Luke 7:13), and for those in need (Matthew 15:32).
