Whenever I get discouraged about how cruel and unjust this world can be, I remember that you, O Lord, are coming to judge the earth with righteousness and the peoples with equity. I worship you, O Christ, for you are the one appointed by God to judge the living and the dead (Psalm 98:9; Acts 10:42).
