Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel, which means, God with us. I worship you, O Christ, for you are the one promised beforehand through the prophets who was declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by your resurrection from the dead. You are the one through whom we have received grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (Isaiah 7:14; Romans 1:2-7; Matthew 1:23).
