Heart of the Artist

I worship you, O Lord my God, my Holy One, for you are eternal (Habakkuk 1:12).

I worship you, Jesus Christ, for you are the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler over all the kings of the earth. You are the one who loves me and freed me from my sins by your blood. To you be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen (Revelation 1:5-6).

I give thanks to you in everything, O God my Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for every good and perfect gift is from you (Ephesians 5:20; James 1:17).

I worship you, Lord, in wonder and amazement for you have done unbelievable things in my life (Habakkuk 1:5).

To the one who is able to keep me from falling and to present me blameless before his glorious presence with great joy—to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time, now and forever. Amen (Jude 24-25).

I worship you, Lord, for you are slow to anger and great in power. You are serious about sin and are, therefore, not to be trifled with. For the mountains quake before you. Who can withstand your righteous anger? Yet, you are a good God, a stronghold in the day of trouble. You care for those who trust in you (Nahum 1:1-7).

I worship you, God, for you are love. You manifested your love for us by sending your only Son into the world to be the propitiation for our sins, so that we might live through him. We love because you first loved us (1 John 4:8-10, 19). 

Who else is a God like you, O Lord, who pardons iniquity and forgives our sins? You are not one to hold a grudge and stay angry forever. Instead, you delight in showing mercy and steadfast love. In your great compassion, you tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. Praise God! We enjoy the same faithfulness and love you showered upon our ancestors (Micah 7:18-20).

Thank you Jesus, Son of God, that you destroy the works of the devil. Please destroy the works of the devil in my life. For greater are you who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 3:8; 4:4). 

As for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me (Micah 7:7-8).
